Do you like my artichokes? Actually these are not my, or rather, are now after I bought them. Artichokes are coming from Sardinia. I bought them to FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FROM A ENNIO MELDOLA.
As I cooked them? Well, given that Romagna is still winter here in two days and try to snow, I thought well that for my health and my loved ones ...... we need to take in more calories per ... protect from the cold of course!
So I did the following:
An artichoke head about ...
slices of bacon cut thin but not too much flour
oil EVO
lemon juice
Inquest so I proceeded
artichokes I took the tough outer leaves, then I've trimmed because of the thorns. I cut them into pieces and I floured them. I did heat the oil in the pan and put the artichokes to cook on high heat. I have since turned to brown on all sides, I then added the bacon and let cook too.
I then added lemon juice. Salt, pepper, and cook over low heat.
Finally then, we baked in the same skillet of arms of pork ... and we toasted bread on an open fire!
will the better it gets hot otherwise I do not know ..... I'll have to put a strict diet.
